TORONTO, March 18, 2014 /CNW/ - March is out like a Lyon as CTV's SPUN OUT gets two Thursday-night previews on March 20 and 27, it was announced today. CTV has programmed its new ensemble workplace sitcom starring Dave Foley to once again air during its #1 Thursday night lineup. "This two-week sampling stunt allows us to build upon the momentum for a comedy series that continues to attract positive buzz," said Mike Cosentino, Senior Vice-President, Programming, CTV Networks. "We're taking an opening made possible by two consecutive pre-emptions of our Thursday night comedies due to March Madness, and spinning it into an opportunity for SPUN OUT."
In this week's hilarious new episode of SPUN OUT, entitled "Stalkblocker" (Thursday, March 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, and Friday, March 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT), Abby (Holly Deveaux) and Nelson (Al Mukadam) are convinced that Beckett's (Paul Campbell) super fan is actually a stalker (Lauren Ash, SUPER FUN NIGHT). While Dave (Foley) helps Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton) master the art of elevator small talk, Gordon (Darcy Michael) becomes preoccupied with knitting Dave articles of clothing as presents after receiving compliments on them.
Next week in another all-new episode of SPUN OUT entitled "Gaycation" (Thursday, March 27 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, and Friday, March 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT), Nelson (Al Mukadam) is thrilled when Abby (Holly Deveaux) offers to do all "gay guy stuff" with his husband. But when Abby starts getting way too chummy with his hubby, Nelson wonders if maybe he's just not gay enough for his man. Meanwhile, Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton) is convinced a lucky bra is the secret to her newfound success at work, and Bryce (J.P. Manoux) goes to great lengths to convince Gordon (Darcy Michael) to let him sit in his new, fancy office chair.
Viewers can catch up on the first three episodes of SPUN OUT on demand at CTV.ca and the CTV GO app.
