Marie-Claude Guillotte Appointed Economist at Laurentian Bank Securities
MONTREAL, June 30 /CNW Telbec/ - Mr. Carlos Leitao, Strategist and Chief Economist at Laurentian Bank Securities (LBS), is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Marie-Claude Guillotte as Sectoral Economist with the Economic Research team.
The Economic Research group analyzes the impact of the North American macroeconomic environment on financial markets and participates in the decision making process related to investment strategies. The team focuses particular attention on the Canadian economy, a key market for Laurentian Bank Securities.
Ms. Guillotte completed a Master's degree in Economics with a concentration in Research at Université de Sherbrooke, where she had previously earned a Bachelor of Economics degree. Her responsibilities at LBS include the monitoring of Canadian economic indicators, the preparation of analyzes, and the formulation of associated economic forecasts.
