New campaign will provide up to $100,000 in free massage, reflexology and
acupuncture services to Canadian nurses
TORONTO, May 4, 2020 /CNW/ - Just in time for National Nurses Week (which runs from May 11 to May 17), Massage Addict today announced a new initiative designed to send a very special message of thanks to these frontline health workers. For every Massage Addict gift card purchased in the month of May, Massage Addict will give a matching gift card to a Canadian nurse.
"We've been watching Canadians say thank you to healthcare workers in so many ways: banging on pots and putting up signs and sending food to hospital workers. We asked ourselves: what could we contribute? How can we add our voices to that chorus of thanks?" explained Fraser Clarke, Chief Executive Officer of Massage Addict. "Through this program, we're thrilled to be able to offer what we do best - provide therapeutic services".
Gift cards can be purchased online now at massageaddict.ca - and can be redeemed for massage therapy, acupuncture and reflexology services at any one of 98 Massage Addict locations across Canada once clinics reopen. Massage Addict will match gift card purchases to a total of $100,000.
Many Provinces are starting to re-open their economy in phases and all Massage Addict clinics are expected to re-open in May or June. "When things get back to normal, Nurses will need to take some time for themselves and get an hour of rest, relaxation and rehabilitation for their tired muscles and minds" says Clarke.
