Massothérapie Massage Addict, the largest and fastest growing membership-based massage therapy provider in Canada, is marking its 10th anniversary with the opening of its first location in Quebec and its 80th clinic nationwide.
MONTREAL, March 12, 2018 /CNW/ - A Montreal entrepreneur is leading the pack by opening the first Massothérapie Massage Addict in Quebec in the Carré Lucerne in the Town of Mount Royal (TMR).
First Place
Antonia Tsapakis is excited to be the first to bring Massothérapie Massage Addict to Quebec as the first membership-based company of its kind. "How many times can you say, 'it hasn't been done before' in today's business world? We're filling the gap in the Quebec market for affordable therapeutic treatments delivered by highly-trained massage therapists and certified reflexologists in a conveniently located, great-looking clinic," said Tsapakis, a former café and restaurant owner. "I am proud to be representing this amazing brand here in Quebec."
Tsapakis was ready to embark on a new adventure and considered many other health and wellness endeavours before deciding on Massothérapie Massage Addict. "Massothérapie Massage Addict stands out as being the biggest company offering massage and reflexology treatments with a membership-based business model. I knew right away when I discovered them that it was the right fit for me. And after I met with the executive team, it was an easy decision."
Solid Backup
Tsapakis is leveraging the vast experience in marketing, operations, information technology, finance and business leadership that Massothérapie Massage Addict's Head Office brings. New owners are guided through everything from finding a site to construction, training, recruiting, opening day, marketing, and day-to-day operational support.
"I can't say enough about how important that is when you are taking on a huge task like opening a new business," said Tsapakis. "It has been a positive experience from the beginning with a lot of hard work, and I know it will be rewarding in many ways."
Inspiring Work
It also helps that Tsapakis is a fan of treatments herself. "I have always enjoyed massage therapy and believe in the many health benefits it brings. It is very exciting to me as a consumer, because I know I would love to have a Massothérapie Massage Addict clinic in my neighborhood. I know that if you love what you are offering, you can learn, grow, and be successful in that industry."
That's what motivates many successful franchisees, according to Massothérapie Massage Addict CEO Fraser Clarke. "We love what we offer; and it shows," said Clarke. "We're thrilled to welcome Antonia to our Massothérapie Massage Addict family and excited about our expansion into Quebec." Clarke said there are plans to open a second Montreal-area clinic in the next few months.
As for Tsapakis, she's onboard for expansion. "My goal is to ensure my first clinic gets up and running as successfully as possible and will put all my efforts into this right now. But I plan to open multiple clinics."
The TMR clinic is located at 2378 Chemin Lucerne Mont-Royal (Carré Lucerne), and opens on March 13th. For more information, visit www.massotherapiemassageaddict.ca
