Maxim Gives Free Meals to Truck Drivers From April 7-9
BRANDON, MB, April 8, 2020 /CNW/ - Maxim Truck & Trailer, an International Truck dealership, wrapped up their first of three days handing out free meals to truck drivers passing by their Brandon Location off the Trans-Canada highway between the hours of 11 am to 3 pm from April 7 to April 9.
"Truck drivers from Quebec to BC stopped to enjoy a free meal today," says Darin Bouchard, General Manager of Maxim Truck & Trailer's Brandon location. "The trucking industry is an Essential Service, delivering the food, medical supplies, and countless other equipment thats Canadian businesses and people need," says Bouchard. "This is the least we can do and we hope to get the message out so we can feed more truck drivers tomorrow and Thursday."
The Maxim team are giving truck drivers a free prepackaged 12-inch sub, cookie, and drink. Maxim is prepared to hand out 3,000 free meals over the course of the three-day period.
Portable bathrooms have also been set up for the convenience of truck drivers.
