-- Contest Encourages Canadians to Express Creativity in Resisting Status Quo --
RICHMOND HILL, ON, Feb. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - How do you challenge the everyday hum-drum? What is your creative expression that allows you to resist the status quo and do something great? On February 17th, Mazda Canada wants to know how you defy convention by sharing personal works of creativity, achievement, or impact on society for your chance to win the all-new 2013 Mazda CX-5 with SKYACTIV Technology!
The Mazda "Defy Convention" Facebook contest (facebook.com/mazdacanada) encourages Canadians to share these special moments by uploading a video, photo, or story of your experience. On June 8, 2012, the winner will be chosen as voted by you and will receive the keys to a brand-new 2013 Mazda CX-5 - the first Mazda built with the full suite of our ground-breaking, super fuel-efficient SKYACTIV Technology.
This contest strives to underscore Mazda's devotion to creating exceptionally fun-to-drive, well-crafted vehicles. "At Mazda, we challenge the status quo every day; we don't just build cars, we build cars for people who care about what they drive", said Vito Paladino, Director of Marketing for Mazda Canada Inc. "Mazda owners are passionate about their cars, and they are also very passionate about living every day to the fullest. This contest gives them a chance to show how they're making a difference."
The Grand Prize winner will receive the highly anticipated all new 2013 Mazda CX-5 crossover which features the full complement of SKYACTIV Technology.
The "Defy Convention" contest runs February 17 through June 8, 2012 on Mazda's Facebook page. For further details and to participate, please visit facebook.com/mazdacanada.
