RICHMOND HILL, ON, Sept. 1, 2023 /CNW/ - Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) today reported August sales of 5,364 vehicles, representing an increase of 12.8 percent versus August 2022. Sales year-to-date (YTD) are 38,227, which is an increase of 8.9 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
AUGUST 2023 HIGHLIGHTS:
- CX-50 sees best month ever, as sales logged a third straight month of increases, jumping up by 56.4 percent in August.
- The world's best-selling roadster marked its sixth consecutive month of sales gains with a 70.0 percent increase year-over-year.
- The Mazda3 reported a 107.8 percent increase in YOY sales.
- The all-new CX-90 continues an impressive launch streak, surpassing the outgoing CX-9's record highs for the fourth consecutive month.
- MX-30, Mazda's full-electric vehicle, recorded it's best sales in 18 months and second-best month ever, rising 34.9 percent compared to August 2022.
- CX-30 sales also shot up year-over-year, recording a 120.6 percent increase.
