McKesson Canada appoints Richard Brennan as new Senior Vice President, Retail Banner Management Services Français
MONTREAL, March 11, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - McKesson Canada is pleased to announce the nomination of Richard Brennan to the position of Senior Vice President, Retail Banner Management Services, effective today. In this role, Richard Brennan will be responsible for leading McKesson Canada's growing pharmacy banner business that include Guardian, I.D.A., The Medicine Shoppe Canada, Proxim and Remedy'sRx. He will report to McKesson Canada's President, Alain Champagne, and will become a key member of the company's Canadian Executive Team.
Mr. Brennan joined McKesson Canada fourteen years ago and has played roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining McKesson Canada, Brennan spent eighteen years at Shoppers Drug Mart, where he played a number of leadership roles with a clear focus on driving merchandising and operational excellence.

With the appointment of Richard Brennan, Dale Weil, most recently Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development at McKesson Canada, completes her interim appointment. Her leadership has contributed to ensure a positive market position for our pharmacy banners, and will contribute to an effective transition for Richard."
Richard joins other recently appointed senior executives including, Mr. Todd Baldanzi, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Paula Keays, Senior Vice President, Pharmaceutical Distribution and Operations, and Mr. Dimitris Polygenis, Senior Vice President, Purchasing and Manufacturer Solutions.
