TORONTO, Aug. 15, 2012 /CNW/ - Starting September 1, GO Transit will be adjusting some schedules and reinstating its bus service to McMaster University. With the return of school also comes the end of GO's seasonal service to Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
In order to operate an efficient transit system across the region and meet changing demand, GO continually monitors its services and make modifications accordingly.
Service changes include:
11 - Niagara-on-the-Lake/St. Catharines GO Bus
- Effective Sept 4, seasonal GO Bus service between St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake will be suspended for the 2012 season.
12 - Niagara Falls/Toronto GO Train & Bus
- Effective Sept 4, seasonal Niagara GO Train service will be suspended for the 2012 season.
- School trips have been reinstated
15 - McMaster GO Bus
- School trips have been reinstated
16 - Hamilton/Toronto Express GO Bus
- Four weekday morning trips from Hamilton GO Centre will now depart 5 minutes earlier; stop times along the route have been adjusted.
