In anticipation of Toronto FC's home opener on May 10, MLSE will host media a hard hat tour for the first look at the newly expanded and upgraded BMO Field tomorrow. |
Tim Leiweke, MLSE President & CEO and Bob Hunter, Chief Project Development Officer at MLSE, will lead a tour of the stadium's progress for Toronto Mayor John Tory and media. |

Last September, Canada's only soccer-first stadium underwent Phase One of a $120 million expansion that will include the addition of 8,400 seats, new washrooms and concession stands, a full HD video board, upgraded suites and clubs, a state of the art lighting and sound system and reinforced turf upgrade. Phase Two will begin in September, 2015 and includes the addition of a canopy covering the stadium's grandstands. |
