Media Advisory - Fairness Express Campaign returns to Toronto June 4-5
TORONTO, June 4, 2014 /CNW/ - The Fairness Express Tour is a grassroots campaign spearheaded by the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE) in association with the Ontario Public Services Employees Union (OPSEU). It will be travelling through cities and towns across Ontario from May 3 to June 20.
The centerpiece of the campaign is a big green bus called the "Fairness Express" which is a rolling roadshow of public service employees from across the province. The aim of the campaign is to foster local discussions about growing income inequality and related issues in Ontario and Canada.
The Fairness Express will be in downtown Toronto from June 3-5. We encourage the public and media to visit the and join the discussion about tax fairness, good jobs, public services and labour rights.
