Media Advisory - Minister Ambrose to visit the Alberta Transplant Institute

EDMONTON, April 22, 2014 /CNW/ - The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, will mark National Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness Week by visiting Dr. Lori West, Director of the Canadian National Transplant Research Program (CNTRP) at the Alberta Transplant Institute. The Minister will tour a research lab with leading transplant scientists and visit with a five-year-old Edmonton girl who received a heart transplant in November 2012.
