Media Advisory - Thomas L. Friedman and Irshad Manji to headline Higher Education Summit
TORONTO, Nov. 20, 2012 /CNW/ - Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and author Thomas L. Friedman and bestselling author Irshad Manji will be among the featured speakers at this year's Higher Education Summit in Toronto.
The Higher Education Summit takes place Sunday, Nov. 25, and Monday, Nov. 26. Other featured speakers at this year's conference are "Wealthy Barber" David Chilton and Canadian Auto Workers economist Jim Stanford.
The annual summit, run by Colleges Ontario, is one of Canada's leading conferences on post-secondary education. The conference takes place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel at 123 Queen Street West in Toronto.

Sunday, Nov. 25
1 p.m. - Irshad Manji, the bestselling author who directs the Moral Courage Project at New York University, will speak about giving young people a stronger voice.
Monday, Nov. 26
8:30 a.m. - "Wealthy Barber" David Chilton will deliver a featured address on how to be successful.
9:15 a.m. - Canadian Auto Workers economist Jim Stanford will speak on the myths and realities of the ugly economy.
1 p.m. - Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and author Thomas L. Friedman will deliver the keynote speech on the impact of globalization.
