Media Advisory - Women in Defence and Security to Award Memorial Scholarship

OTTAWA, Feb. 27, 2014 /CNW/ - Vera Reifenstein, President of Women in Defence and Security (WiDS), today announced that she will be joined by the Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, and RCMP Deputy Commissioner, Janice Armstrong, at the 2014 WiDS Memorial Scholarship award ceremony in honour of the memory of a fallen female RCMP officer and to present this year's scholarship award.
