The Canadian Wildlife Federation is proud to announce the creation of a $1-Million Endangered Species Program to benefit Canadian species
OTTAWA, March 23 /CNW Telbec/ - Media are invited to attend the announcement of a newly created endangered species research funding program.
When: Thursday, March 25, 2010 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Where: Museum of Nature, 3rd Floor 240 McLeod St. (at Metcalfe) Ottawa, Ontario Speakers: Jody Gienow, Host of the Hinterland Who's Who with live animals, a peregrine falcon, fox snake and wood turtle, to talk about the importance of endangered species research and recovery efforts. Professor Steven Cooke, Carleton University, to briefly discuss his current endangered species research Mary Taylor, Director of Environment Canada's Canadian Wildlife Service Rick Bates, Executive Director of the Canadian Wildlife Federation to give details of the $1-million program and current research being funded.
