YWCA Canada press conference on continuing violence against women and how to address it. YWCA Canada will launch Rose Campaign 2014 and #NOTokay, a new social media campaign that asks the public call attention to things they see and hear that promote violence against women. Speakers will discuss the brutal attack on Marlene Bird in Saskatchewan in June, the 2013 Bracebridge murder of Lindsay Wilson by her ex-boyfriend, and the need for public education to reduce violence. |
