/CNW/ - The community is invited to tune into the Country 105 and Q107 Caring for Kids Radiothon and hear stories from the kids and families who inspire us every day. The Radiothon - a favorite Foundation event which has been embraced by the community - will be held at the Alberta Children's Hospital on February 3-5, 2010.
To date, the Caring for Kids Radiothon has raised nearly
$7.8 million
and has helped fund life-saving equipment, innovative child health programs and advanced child health research. In fact, last year's event alone raised an unprecedented $1.95 million!
"Radiothon is pure, heartfelt storytelling at its best," says Saifa Koonar, President & CEO of the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. "We are so grateful to have a radio partner so open to sharing its airwaves to benefit kids and families in our community."
