OTTAWA, Nov. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Canadian Association of University Teachers at its Ottawa Get Science Right town hall. Moderated by journalist Mike De Souza, panelists will discuss the impact of the federal government's current approach to science policy, examine ways to protect science in the public interest, and hear the views of representatives from the three main political parties on what should be the role of the federal government with respect to research and post-secondary education.
