Media Advisory - Accreditation: 2017 Royal Tour to Canada of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Français
OTTAWA, May 25, 2017 /CNW/ - Their Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will tour Canada from June 29 to July 1, 2017. They will visit five communities in Nunavut, Ontario and the National Capital Region:
- Iqaluit, Nunavut (June 29)
- Trenton, Ontario (June 30)
- Wellington, Ontario (June 30)
- Ottawa, Ontario (July 1)
- Gatineau, Quebec (July 1)
All media representatives who wish to cover the 2017 Royal Tour must be accredited in accordance with the normal procedures of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and obtain an ID card.
The application for accreditation can be accessed online through the 2017 Royal Tour Registration and Accreditation Portal and must be accompanied by a passport-type photo of the applicant (jpg or gif format), the applicant's electronic identification picture (jpg or gif format), and a copy of the applicant's assignment letter.
The deadline to apply for accreditation is June 21, 2017 at 5 p.m. EDT. All sections of the application must be completed.
Please specify at which media centre you would like to pick up your ID card, and check the consent box in the accreditation form if you wish to receive further information about the 2017 Royal Tour.
