LaDonna Tamakawastewin Allard, who founded the Sacred Stone Camp in Standing Rock in April 2016, will be one of the speakers during the May 5 event, which is being sponsored by the OPSEU Indigenous Mobilization Team, Idle No More Toronto, and the Law Union of Ontario.
Also speaking will be Freda Huson from the Unist'ot'en Camp in British Columbia, which was established in 2015 to prevent the construction of pipelines through Wet'suwet'en territory near Prince Rupert.
