Media Advisory - AFL responds to TFW program changes

EDMONTON, June 20, 2014 /CNW/ - The Alberta Federation of Labour will respond to Minister Jason Kenney's new Temporary Foreign Worker Program rules today at 2 p.m. MT.

The new rules, which the government hopes will quell criticism of the program, are to be unveiled today at 11:30.

"We've heard some promising rumours about these changes, but as with everything, the devil is in the details," AFL President Gil McGowan.
