TORONTO, Nov. 21, 2017 /CNW/ - Toronto Mayor John Tory, Ward 33 Councillor Shelley Carroll, Toronto Community Housing President and CEO Kathy Milsom, FRAM Building Group Vice President Fred Serrafero and tenants Alana DeFlorimonte and Marian Barnor will join other tenants and staff to celebrate National Housing Day with the official opening of Phase 1 of the Allenbury Gardens revitalization site.
When the revitalization is completed, Toronto Community Housing and FRAM will have replaced a total of 127 Toronto Community Housing rent-geared-to-income homes and added 900 market condominium suites as part of the new community. The Allenbury Gardens site is seven acres (2.83 hectares) and is located just north of Fairview Mall between Fairview Mall Drive, Godstone Road, Kingslake Road and Allenbury Gardens.
