MEDIA ADVISORY - AMI-audio takes home gold in the Big Apple
TORONTO, June 23, 2015 /CNW/ - Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) announced today that its AMI-audio channel received a gold medal last night at the New York Festivals International Radio Program Awards.
AMI-audio was recognized in the History documentary category for a piece that aired on its Contact program entitled, "All Those Years Ago"; a special on the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles' arrival in North America. The program was produced by Joe Lamanna, Paul Daniel and Michael Iantorno.

"To be acknowledged by our international peers at such a prestigious event is incredibly rewarding and further strengthens our commitment to produce unique, engaging, top-quality productions for our blind and low vision audience."
AMI-audio also took home the Adrienne Clarkson Diversity Award at the recent RTDNA National Awards Gala for an episode that aired on its Insights program focused on Disability and Sexuality in the LGBTQ community. The story was produced by Jason Vermes.
