Media Advisory - AMI's fall schedule mixes comedy, drama and reality with original content and special presentations
TORONTO, Aug. 27, 2014 /CNW/ - Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) announced today its programming schedule for the 2014 fall season, featuring an array of new comedies, dramas and reality shows, special broadcasts, returning classics and popular AMI Original programs.
AMI will kick off the fall season Monday, September 1 with a special Murdoch Mysteries marathon. Starting at 6 am, kick back and catch 18 straight hours of Detective Murdoch and his mysterious cases from the entire seventh season.
On Friday, September 5 at 8 pm Eastern and Pacific time, AMI is proud to present a special live described broadcast of the Stand Up to Cancer Canada fundraising telecast. Host Katie Couric will be joined by Hollywood stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Reese Witherspoon and more to raise money for cancer research. Also, tune in for live performances by The Who, Jennifer Hudson and Dave Matthews, plus interact with participating celebrities via phone and social media.
AMI-tv truly has something for everyone with a wide variety of shows making their AMI debut this fall. Comedies, dramas, reality and children's programs including The Little Couple, Dogs with Jobs, Twice in a Lifetime, The Berenstain Bears and Ultimate Survival Everest begin the week of September 15.
Fan favourites returning to AMI this fall include: CSI: NY, Being Human, All in the Family, Matlock, Corner Gas and Mantracker. On weekends grab the popcorn and settle in on the couch for afternoon and evening movies. Or, if you're more of a sports fan, catch live-described Blue Jays baseball every Sunday in September.
AMI's original program Sports Access will return with all new episodes this fall starting with a one hour special about Beep Baseball on September 27 at 6 and 11 pm. Join host Mark DeMontis as he travels to Minnesota to learn the art of 'blind' baseball at the 2014 Beep Baseball World Championships. The new season of Sports Access will continue on October 4 at 6:30 and 11 pm. AMI This Week and AMI Originals Presents will also return with new episodes starting September 15.
