Media Advisory - Ananta Health and Dr. Rebecca Risk Presents Lyme Disease: Falling Through The Cracks

CALGARY, July 30, 2013 /CNW/ - Ananta Health and Dr. Rebecca Risk will present "Lyme Disease: Falling Through The Cracks" a workshop on Lyme Disease in Alberta, taking place at Westgate Community Center on August 12, 2013 at 7pm.  Presentation will be given by Dr. Rebecca Risk, a doctor of Chinese Medicine and a lyme disease survivor. Dr. Risk treated hundreds of Lyme patients across Canada and has a unique point of view on treatment and the controversy surrounding Lyme disease.

Ananta Health is proud to bring Lyme Disease: Falling Through The Cracks  event to Calgary - this is a second event of its kind. Falling Through The Cracks workshop will provide its attendees with a unique perspective on Lyme disease, latest treatment techniques and alternatives to traditional pharmaceutical ways to treat Lyme.

Dr. Risk is a Lyme disease survivor, and is currently in remission.  Having had Lyme disease for 18 years, she has a unique perspective on what works and what does not in treatment of this debilitating illness.  She is also one of the few doctors in Lyme community that talks about alternative treatment options for Lyme patients.  Traditionally Lyme treatment consists of a very expensive course of antibiotics.  Dr. Risk will go over alternative options to antibiotics - herbal anti-microbial protocol that is supported by many studies and proven to be more effective when compared to treating Lyme with antibiotics.
