Mayors to discuss new federal wastewater rules
HALIFAX, April 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Mayors from Atlantic Canada's largest municipalities will meet in Halifax, NS, April 15-16, in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
The mayors, members of the Atlantic Mayors' Congress, will discuss pressing issues facing their communities, notably the cost to local property taxpayers of new federal wastewater regulations.
The meetings are closed to news media. A news conference is scheduled for April 15 at 3:30 p.m. Individual mayors are available upon request to meet reporters following the news conference.
