Corporate executives to compete at Frontier College's annual SCRABBLE(R) Corporate Challenge event
TORONTO, March 1 /CNW/ - On March 3, top executives from Bay Street's banks, investment, accounting, and law firms, will compete in the sixth annual SCRABBLE(R) Corporate Challenge, presented by TMX Group and hosted by the CBC's Amanda Lang.
Top corporations from the financial, legal, technology and accounting sectors will challenge their peers in a competitive game of SCRABBLE(R) for the chance to win the coveted TMX Cup, in support of Frontier College, Canada's original literacy organization.
This year, the CNW Group Newsmakers will defend their 2009 TMX Cup title against previous winners, the PricewaterhouseCoopers' Alphabet Soup (2008).
The SCRABBLE(R) Corporate Challenge was established in 2005. A tournament based on the word game SCRABBLE(R) is the perfect event to bring awareness to low literacy rates in Canada. Since 2005, the event has raised over $1 million for Frontier College and its important mission to improve literacy rates across Canada.
