Media Advisory - BBQ & Rally in support of prison farms
The members of USGE/PSAC want to denounce Minister Van Loan's decision to close down the farms. It is an ideologically-driven decision that makes no financial or social sense. The decision will deprive inmates of a worthwhile rehabilitation program and will increase the cost of food in many penitentiary institutions that also benefited from the program.
