VANCOUVER, Sept. 24, 2015 /CNW/ - The Canadian Medical Association's (CMA) Past President Dr. Chris Simpson will join Doctors of BC President Dr. Charles Webb as a panelist at the BC Forum on Health Care on Monday, September 28.
This free public event is held in partnership with the British Columbia Retired Teachers' Association (BCRTA), the Canadian Association of Retired Teachers (ACER-CART), the National Association of Federal Retirees (FSNA), the Council of Senior Citizens Organizations of BC and the CMA, and will include a discussion on why Canada needs a national seniors care strategy.
As the election campaign rolls on, it's crucial that all political parties define their objectives for developing a national seniors care strategy. This is an opportunity for members of the public to weigh in on the role and expectation of government in health.
