Kelowna and West Kelowna residents receive free professional appraisal for prized possessions
KELOWNA, BC, Sept. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - From antiques to fine art, people spend years building their collection of treasures while others may have inherited a family heirloom. The British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA) is inviting Kelowna and West Kelowna residents to bring their antiques and collectibles to the Rotary Centre for the Arts for a professional appraisal—free of charge. Media outlets are invited to capture images of unique collectibles as they get appraised. Some participants may be interested in sharing their personal stories about how they came into possession of their special item.
What: | Kelowna and West Kelowna residents are invited to bring their antiques and collectibles for a free professional appraisal. Light refreshments will be served and attendees can enjoy a presentation of historical images recounting Kelowna's storied past. Plus, all appraisal participants can enter to win a $500 BCAA Gift Card that can be used towards BCAA Home Insurance or any other BCAA product. Admission is free. |
Why: | Many people own items that are unique, special and valuable. A BCAA home insurance specialist will be on hand to answer questions people may have about protecting their prized possessions. |
