Media Advisory - BCGEU reaches tentative agreement with the B.C. Government
VANCOUVER, March 29 /CNW/ - The B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union (BCGEU) has reached a tentative agreement with the Public Service Agency, which bargains on behalf of the provincial government.
BCGEU president Darryl Walker will be available to the media today at 3:00 pm at the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Vancouver, Seymour Room, 34th floor, to provide some comments on the agreement.
The BCGEU represents 29,000 employees who work for the provincial government. The workers include child protection offices, environment officials, correctional officers and sheriffs, public liquor store employees, and administrative staff.
