Media Advisory - Beloved actress and comedian team up with local talent this Saturday at Bust a Move for Breast Health™
HALIFAX, March 21, 2012 /CNW/ - Beloved actress and comedian Andrea Martin, along with local, well known emcee Jeremy Webb, will be entertaining participants as they 'bust a move' this Saturday, March 24th at the Canada Games Centre. Participants and volunteers are coming together to participate in the third annual daylong fitness extravaganza hosted by the QEII and IWK Foundations in support of breast health.
Bust a Move for Breast Health™ will feature six fitness sessions led by outstanding local fitness leaders, a spectacle of music, including performances by Big Fish, and special presentations by live chanters, SuryaChandra, dancers from Urban Circus and drummers. Funds raised will advance breast health services in Nova Scotia and support the development of the Breast Health Centre.
Media are invited and encouraged to attend throughout the day. There will be a dedicated opportunity for media to meet and interview Andrea Martin at 12:55 p.m. on Saturday, March 24. Media entrance to the event is through the Canada Games Centre main entrance on 26 Thomas Raddall Avenue. Please register at the Bust a Move entertainment and media check-in desk upon arrival. The event's closing ceremonies will conclude shortly after 4 p.m. with an announcement of the grand total of funds raised.
