On campus activation features free tech support from Geek Squad Agents and back-to-school giveaways

KINGSTON, ON, Sept. 6, 2016 /CNW/ - On September 9^th, Best Buy Canada and its Geek Squad Agents will roll into Kingston to help Queen's University students make this year their best year. With the goal to provide students some relief during the hectic back-to-school window, the Best Buy Campus Tour brings free tech support and the latest back-to-school solutions directly to where students are located, with stops at university campuses in Ontario and British Columbia.

The Best Buy Campus Tour will feature dedicated on-site Geek Squad Agents who are available to answer any tech-related questions or issues, such as installing a new printer or setting up a hard drive back up. The activation will also feature on campus mobile phone sales and activations from Best Buy Mobile, along with discounted pricing for ClearPlex Film protection and installation for mobile phones. Students will be further delighted with giveaways, and the chance to win the ultimate Back to School prize at each campus stop: a free laptop plus Microsoft Office 365 Personal, Microsoft wireless mouse, and a High Sierra backpack.  Charging stations and interactive virtual reality demonstrations from Homido VR, Merge VR and Noon VR will ensure students are energized heading into the new school year.
