Media Advisory - Blueprint for Ontario's new tobacco control strategy to be
released
TORONTO, Oct. 18 /CNW/ - The Tobacco Strategy Advisory Group (TSAG), formed by the Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport and its partners in 2009, will be releasing a report that outlines recommendations to Government on the next generation of comprehensive tobacco controls for the province.
The 43-page report represents the consensus of Ontario's leaders in tobacco control and outlines a range of recommendations which would form the basis of the next Ontario government five-year Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy. The first Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy was launched in 2004 and is up for renewal.
