SAULT STE.MARIE, ON, March 12, 2014 /CNW/ - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Sault Ste. Marie Detachment, in partnership with Environment Canada, will be hosting a Boater Safety and Awareness session on March 25, 2014.

Location: The Days Inn (formerly The Travelodge) located at 332 Bay Street, Sault Ste. Marie, ON

Mr. Serge Besner, from Environment Canada, will discuss Wind, Weather and Waves on the Great Lakes. This valuable information will be useful to all boat operators using the Upper St. Mary's River, Lake Huron and Lake Superior.
The public and the media are invited to attend. There is no cost to attend this session. The session will be approximately 3 hours in length and a booklet will be provided to each person in attendance.
