TORONTO, Nov. 11, 2016 /CNW/ - On Saturday, November 12, over 800 people will come together in support of Providence Healthcare for the 23rd annual Silver Ball, presented by Scotiabank, at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. The event is one of Toronto's most anticipated and longest-running annual galas, having raised more than $14 million for Providence, a leader in rehabilitation, palliative care, long-term care and community programs.
Guests will experience VIP treatment at the black tie affair and enjoy a headline performance by Collabro, the English musical theatre group and winners of the 2014 Britain's Got Talent competition.
This year's event will raise $1 million to support Providence priorities like creating a best-in-class Palliative Care program for patients and their families, building a state-of-the-art Knowledge Centre to support staff education and transforming rehabilitative care through Providence Hospital's Transformation by Design initiative.
