World's only YouTube festival brings together over 300 content creators in its fourth year

TORONTO, Oct. 13, 2016 /CNW/ - On Friday, October 21, Buffer Festival, the world's only showcase of YouTube video premieres, will kick off its fourth annual film festival in the heart of Toronto's entertainment district. Buffer Festival brings together over 300 of the most acclaimed digital content creators and YouTube personalities with videos premieres, educational workshops, concerts, galas, and red carpet events.

Media are invited to attend Buffer Festival's official press day on Friday, October 21, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at The Fairmont Royal York Hotel, and join over 130 Featured Creators on the Red Carpet at the Award Show Gala from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Buffer Festival will run from Friday, October 21 to Sunday, October 23 at select venues across Toronto.

Media interviews must be coordinated in advance, and photo/filming opportunities will be available on-site.

  • One-on-one press interviews - Accredited members of the press will have the opportunity to conduct one-on-one interviews with some of the world's biggest YouTube stars and Featured Creators. Over 130 Featured Creators will be in attendance, whose collective YouTube video views exceed 16,000,000,000. Each creator will premier work in their respective categories, which include: Comedy, Science and Education, Travel and Adventure, Women of YouTube, Daily Vloggers, Lifestyle and Fashion, LGBT+, and Canadian, Eh.
