Retail expansion will bring an additional 210,000 square feet of new retail space featuring 50 new stores raising the fashion footprint in Toronto's west end

TORONTO, Sept. 22, 2015 /CNW/ - This morning Cadillac Fairview is hosting the official ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of their newly renovated retail expansion at Sherway Gardens. Three years in development, the new North Expansion marks the first beat of the $550 million redevelopment that further solidifies CF Sherway Gardens as the leading west-end fashion destination.

The expansion brings an impressive roster of leading fashion retailers to the new space, including the new 24,000 square foot flagship Harry Rosen, a relocated 38,000 square foot Sporting Life along with Ted Baker London, Judith & Charles, Undo De 50, Maison Birks and DAVIDS. A state-of-the-art Gourmet Fare located on the second level will enrich the space, offering a second-to-none brick and mortar shopping experience.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be hosted by Wayne Barwise, Executive Vice President, Development for Cadillac Fairview, Andy Traynor, GM, CF Sherway Gardens and officiated by local dignitaries Deputy Mayor Vincent Crisanti and Councillor Justin Di Ciano.
