OTTAWA, Oct. 25, 2012 /CNW/ -
WHAT:
Cyber Security and Perimeter Security are critical components to our public safety and national security interests. It is not surprising, therefore, that these two issues are the priority topics for this year's SecureTech Conference and Trade Show taking place in Ottawa, October 30-31, 2012.
The theme of our conference program, "The Economics of Security", reflects the realities of today's security arena where policy makers and front line professionals are challenged to respond to an ever increasing number of threats and complex challenges in an ever greater fiscally conscious environment. And, industry is challenged to supply technology driven solutions and services to enable critical infrastructure owners and front line professionals to protect and defend Canada's interests.
SecureTech's tradeshow will once again feature 100+ booths from Canadian, U.S., and other international suppliers. Some of them are among the world's most recognized names in the public safety, national security and emergency first responder communities.
SecureTech 2012 is presented by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI). Media must register in advance for accreditation. Visit the SecureTech 2012 website for accreditation.
Media are invited to attend the tradeshow, meal functions and plenary sessions, featuring keynote speakers. Panel sessions are closed to the media; however, individual interviews can be requested.
