TORONTO, Oct. 29, 2014 /CNW/ - With increasing demand on Ontario's only psychiatric emergency department, CAMH has improved and doubled the space available for 24/7 care for patients in a mental health or addiction crisis.

The renewed emergency department was also made possible by a $4.2 million grant from Ontario's Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
Media are invited to join Dr. Catherine Zahn, CAMH President and CEO; Trinity-Spadina MPP Han Dong; Toronto businessman Gerald Sheff and Shanitha Kachan, a Director of the CAMH Foundation Board; Darrell Gregersen, President and CEO, CAMH Foundation, for the announcement, photo opportunities and ribbon cutting.
