Media advisory - Canada Pavilion coming to the Charlottetown Summerfest
CHARLOTTETOWN, June 30 /CNW/ - The Government of Canada wishes to advise you that the Canada Pavilion, the Government of Canada's travelling exhibit, will be featured at the Charlottetown Summerfest in Charlottetown, PEI, from June 30 to July 4.
The Canada Pavilion provides an excellent opportunity for Canadians and visitors to learn more about federal programs and services. Several government departments will be showcased at the Canada Pavilion, including Canada Revenue Agency, Veterans Affairs Canada, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Service Canada, Public Works and Governments Services Canada - Translation Bureau and Canada Space Agency.
This year, visitors will be able to learn more about Canada's role in support of biodiversity and express their opinions about the uniqueness of our country by participating in the National Capital Commission's interactive exhibit.
Each year, the Canada Pavilion visits 10 communities across Canada. As the flagship exhibit of the Government of Canada, the Pavilion has won numerous prizes since its creation in 2000 and has welcomed more than seven million visitors.
