MEDIA ADVISORY - Canada's registered nurses to push Parliament for better seniors home health care Français
OTTAWA, Nov. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Health Minister Rona Ambrose will join leaders of the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) tomorrow to kick off the association's annual Hill Day. At a breakfast reception, Ambrose will address MPs, senators and nurses and will be followed by Nik Nanos, who will present new national polling data on seniors care and healthy aging. CNA board members and staff will then begin an intensive round of parliamentary meetings to present specific solutions for how the federal government can improve the health of seniors and the performance of the health system. Complete polling results and recommendations will be made available on Tuesday, November 25.
