Media Advisory - Canada's Ultimate Outdoor Adventure Show Gives to Earthquake
Relief in Haiti
TORONTO, Feb. 24 /CNW/ - Canada's Ultimate Outdoor Adventure Show will not only open it's doors this weekend for three-days of the largest selection of outdoor adventure exhibits, interactive demos, and celebrity guests, but it will also serve as a drop off area for GLA Canada's efforts to help orphans in Haiti. Attendees can bring their used tents, sleeping bags, clothing and shoes to the show. The show will turn over all of the donations to GLA Canada who will send a container with the goods to Haiti.
"Before the earthquake hit, there were 35,000 orphans in Haiti", states Fred Cox, President of National Event Management. "With the recent earthquake, that number has tripled. The Outdoor Adventure Show wanted to help. We know that our exhibitors and attendees feel strongly for this cause and will be there to support it."
