Special Guests at Teresa Group's Annual Holiday Auction

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 16 /CNW/ - On Thursday, November 18th, the Mississauga Convention Centre will be alive with great music and lively bidding in celebration of the 9th Annual Teresa Group Holiday Auction. Guests will enjoy twin vocalists RyanDan as well as the opportunity to meet Canadian Olympians Becky Keller and Joannie Rochette. Over the past 8 years, The Teresa Group Holiday Auction has raised over one million dollars to help local children affected by HIV/AIDS.

What:	A gala fundraising event consisting of live music, celebrity appearances and a charity auction in support of The Teresa Group, a provider of specialized programs and services to hundreds of children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in the Greater Toronto Area.
When:	Thursday, November 18, 2010 Doors Open 5:00 p.m., Opening Remarks at 6:00 p.m. Live and silent auctions held throughout the evening

About The Teresa Group
The Teresa Group is Canada's oldest community-based charitable organization specifically serving children affected by HIV and AIDS and their families.  In 1990 there were five families who required assistance. Client numbers have increased over the years and The Teresa Group now serves approximately 380 families and 750 children.  The purpose of The Teresa Group is to provide innovative programs, practical assistance and emotional support to children and their families affected by HIV and AIDS.
