Media Advisory - Canadian Olympic Committee Holds Annual Golf Tournament

WHISTLER, BC, Sept. 13 /CNW/ - The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) will host its 2010 Whistler Golf Tournament presented by Bell at the prestigious Whistler Golf Club and the Four Seasons Resort Whistler on September 17.

The tournament is one of the COC's signature fundraising events, with proceeds benefitting the Canadian Olympic Team through the Canadian Olympic Foundation, and includes appearances and participation by 14 summer and winter Olympians. They will be joined by leaders of the business community, key COC stakeholders, including worldwide and national sponsors, partners and suppliers, and sport partners.

Canadian Olympic and Pan American athletes will also conduct live demonstrations of their sport throughout the course. Media are welcome to take advantage of interview and photo opportunities and film b-roll of these demonstrations and golfers on the course.
