Media Advisory - Canadian Space Agency astronaut David Saint-Jacques prepares for launch to the International Space Station

LONGUEUIL, QC, Nov. 9, 2018 /CNW/ - Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut David Saint-Jacques is scheduled to take off for the International Space Station on December 3, 2018, from Baikonur, Kazakhstan, at approximately 6:31 a.m. ET (5:31 p.m. local time in Kazakhstan).

As the launch approaches, David and Expedition 58 crewmates Anne McClain and Oleg Kononenko will be participating in pre-launch activities, including qualification exams, traditional ceremonies and news conferences. 

November 13–14	Qualification exams
November 15	Crew news conference at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center Traditional Red Square visit
November 19	Crew departure for Baikonur, beginning of quarantine period
December 1	Soyuz rocket is transported to the launch pad
December 2	Meeting of the State Commission Crew news conference
