economic impact of wind energy industry at 26th Annual Conference and
Exhibition in Montreal
MONTREAL, Oct. 20 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) will release the results of a comprehensive economic impact study produced by Hatch Consulting and economist Jean-Claude Thibodeau, Nov. 2 at the industry association's 26 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Montreal.
For a decade now, Quebec has been on a path to develop wind energy and aims to reach a target of 4,000 MW of installed energy capacity produced by this infinite, renewable energy source. Wind energy development has allowed for major investment all over Quebec in addition to generating significant economic benefits and job creation.
