Media Advisory - Canadian Youth Converge for Historic Climate Conference in
Ottawa, Power Shift Canada - October 23-26
One thousand young Canadians will bring an urgent message to the federal government that immediate action to stop climate change and to help create new, green jobs must be taken.
On the opening day of the conference, keynote speakers will include environmental justice advocate Majora Carter and Clayton Thomas-Muller of the Indigenous Environmental Network. The weekend of workshops, network building, and MP meetings is a once in a lifetime event for the youth across the country.
