Media Advisory - Cancer Care Ontario to sign Relationship Protocol with the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres
TORONTO, July 17, 2014 /CNW/ - Representatives from Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) will join the President of the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres (OFIFC) to sign a Relationship Protocol, a key initiative of CCO's Aboriginal Cancer Strategy II. The protocol establishes a commitment to work together to improve cancer care for First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
Sheila McMahon, President, OFIFC, Alethea Kewayosh, Director of the Aboriginal Cancer Control Unit for CCO and Mark Hartman, Regional Vice-President of the North East Regional Cancer Program will be available to speak to media following the signing.
