Cancer Care Ontario presents the Fourth Annual Human Touch Awards
TORONTO, April 21 /CNW/ - Cancer Care Ontario's (CCO) fourth annual Human Touch Awards draw attention to the importance of the human touch in cancer care - caring for patients' emotional needs throughout the cancer journey.
Tonight, four exemplary health care professionals from across the province will be recognized for their dedication to exceptional and compassionate patient care. As well, new this year is an award celebrating one inspirational volunteer that enhances quality of life for cancer patients.

All part-time or full-time health care professionals who provide direct patient care at either a regional cancer centre or as part of the Regional Cancer Program including home care, palliative care, public health, community hospitals and primary care are eligible for nomination.
The fourth annual Human Touch Awards are generously supported by The Canadian Cancer Society - Ontario Division and Royal Bank of Canada.
